Things got off to a rough start for Mike Dunleavy Sr. in his first season as the head coach at Tulane, but he still felt that his team was making progress.
The Green Wave ended its first season under Dunleavy with a 6-25 record (3-15 in American Athletic Conference), but the veteran coach has come away from his debut season on the collegiate level optimistic about his team's future.
