Northlake Christian safety prospect Nick Martin-Morman verbally pledged to Colorado State Tuesday afternoon, becoming the first commit for the Rams in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
The versatile 5-11, 180-pounder made the trip with his father and trainer, and elected to give the staff his commitment prior to leaving campus.
"I started planning the trip about a week ago," Martin-Morman said. "I knew it was going to be nice up there. I was expecting the good weather and all, but I was blown away after seeing everything they had up there. I didn't plan on ending my recruitment, but it felt like a real good fit for me.
