Tulane coach Willie Fritz said after Friday's spring practice that kicker Andrew DiRocco is no longer on the team's roster.
DiRocco will be graduating from Tulane in the summer and decided to leave the program. Fritz said it will be an open battle for the starting kicker job through the spring.
"He's going to be graduating in the summer and it was a good move for him," Fritz said of DiRocco's decision. "We're excited for him...We're going to have to find out (about who starts at kicker). Three guys are going to be competing for that spot and that's something we're going to have to figure out before the end of spring ball.
