There's a new dynamic duo on the perimeter for North Carolina.
Joel Berry and Justin Jackson combined for 50 points Friday night in the Tar Heels' season-opening 95-75 victory over Tulane at the Smoothie King Center in front of 6,043. Jackson, a small forward, had a career-high 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Berry, a point guard, added a career-high 23 on 6-of-11 shooting.
