The New Orleans Saints went searching the globe for their latest quarterback signing. Sort of.
The Saints agreed to a deal with former Concordia College quarterback Griffin Neal, according to Neal's college coach and multiple reports from Neal's hometown of Fargo, North Dakota.
Neal spent the last year playing in Germany for the Hildesheim Invaders. But he caught the Saints' eye because he randomly wound up participating last month at Tulane's pro day, which was held at the Saints' practice facility.
The Saints then invited Neal to participate at their local pro day on Friday, according to Valley News Live.
