Osetkowski chose the Longhorns over Arizona, although Oklahoma, Baylor, Marquette, Maryland and several other schools also reached out to him over the past couple of weeks. He visited Texas' campus this past weekend and will no longer take his scheduled trip to Arizona for the upcoming weekend.
"I called coach [Shaka] Smart a little while ago," he said. "It was the right fit for me; I felt it was the best option for me.
"The ultimate reason, obviously Coach Smart and the rest of the staff blew me away while I was there.
