NEW ORLEANS -- Pat Birt made seven 3-pointers and scored 27 points -- both career highs -- to lead Tulsa to an 81-67 victory over Tulane on Sunday.
Birt was 7 of 10 from the arc, James Woodard hit 5 of 6 from 3-point range, and Tulsa made a season-high 13. Woodard finished 21 points.
The Golden Hurricane (10-6, 2-2 American) shot 67 percent in the first half when it took a 45-39 lead and finished at 58.8 percent.
Dylan Osetkowski had 18 points and 14 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season for Tulane (7-10, 0-4).
