Baylor University has been served with its seventh Title IX lawsuit, which alleges football players drugged and gang-raped a female student in 2012, the Waco Tribune reported Wednesday.
The incident was part of a hazing system for freshman recruits at parties, the paper reported.
The lawsuit is more trouble for Baylor, dealing with the fallout of a sexual assault scandal that led to the firing of President Ken Starr and football coach Art Briles, and the resignation of athletic director Ian McCaw last year.
"These girls affected by this are seeking their day in court," Houston lawyer Muhammad Aziz, who represents the plaintiff, told the Tribune by phone Wednesday.
