South Florida, ranked No. 16 by the associated press and 13th in the coaches poll, will be the highest ranked opponent to visit Yulman Stadium in the venue's four-year history Saturday.
And it just so happens Tulane (3-3, 1-1) will debut the stadium's latest feature as well - a nearly 15-foot tall, 3,353-pound Angry Wave atop the south end zone scoreboard.
That feature won't have a direct impact on the game, but it's an accurate representation of how Tulane hopes to play during the 6 p.m. nationally-televised American Athletic Conference contest.
"Protecting your house should be the main goal of any college football team," said Tulane receiver Terren Encalade, about the Wave's 3-0 home record this season.
