Since his arrival, Fritz has put a major emphasis on winning the turnover battle and it has paid off so far this year. Tulane is No. 4 in the nation through five games with a plus-8 turnover margin, which includes seven fumble recoveries by the defense (2nd in the nation) and only four giveaways by the offense. The Green Wave's ability to win the turnover battle has probably been the most consistent aspect of the team so far this year.
