St. Augustine's Justice McCoy said he felt a bit rusty after getting back from baseball. If this was rusty, the Catholic League is in from a long season once McCoy considers himself polished.
The highly touted quarterback made accurate throws to his receivers but also showed great poise Friday — particularly when the pocket broke down. On one play, he was flushed from the pocket but keep his eyes down field and right before he was brought down he found Garland LaFrance who was able to turn the play into a big gain.
