Louisiana consistently puts out top-level receiver prospects, but Amite's Devonta Smith is starting to separate himself from many others before him that held that distinction. Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry stand out to me as receivers who were the most equipped to play at a high level in recent years, and Devonta Smith is starting to elevate himself to that level. His overall package of speed, ball skills, body control, route running and length give him the complete package and I expect him to make an immediate impact at the college level, much like Beckham and Alabama's Calvin Ridley were able to do as freshmen.
