TROY — Jordan Chunn’s nose curled at the color. His stomach virtually churched, and he wanted to turn his eyes away.
“Yellow doesn’t look good on me,” he said.
But the Troy running back, in a dark way, walked on sunshine for the first three weeks of preseason camp, donning the yellow jersey that — at Troy — signals “no contact.”
Oh, Chunn was healthy, but the Trojans weren’t taking any chances.
Chunn, toward the end of last year’s 1,000-yard season, regularly wore a protective boot away from the field due to a tender foot.
