MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The wait to start the 2021 season was well worth it for the Troy women's tennis team. After three postponements due to weather to start the season Troy finally got back onto the courts, earning a 5-2 victory at Alabama State on Sunday.
The Trojans got the match started by winning the all-important doubles point. Anastasiia Khoklova and Andrea Widing teamed up to take the first match of the season followed by the pair of Matea Mihaljevic and Shevita Aulana who clinched the doubles point for the Trojans.
