TROY, Ala. – In a matchup of two of the top 10 scoring teams in the country, Troy hit the 100-point mark for the third time this season in a 100-77 victory over Georgia Southern in Sun Belt action Saturday in Trojan Arena.
Troy's victory, coupled with losses by James Madison and Southern Miss, pushed the Trojans (13-8, 8-2) into sole possession of first place in the Sun Belt with eight games remaining before the conference tournament. The Trojans ended the first half on a 14-1 run en route to their 11th straight win (11-0) over Georgia Southern at home.
