TROY, Alabama – Troy University's women's golf and women's cross country programs received Public Recognition Awards on Wednesday as part of the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) program for the 2017-18 academic year; both programs ranked among the top 10 percent of their sport.
Both programs recorded perfect 1,000 APR scores for the reporting period. This marks the fifth-straight year that the women's golf program has earned an NCAA Public Recognition Award, while women's cross country earned the award for the third year in a row.
"We are extremely proud of both of these programs for their sustained academic success," Interim Director of Athletics Sandy Atkins said.
