TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's golf team has been publically recognized by the NCAA for outstanding performance in the classroom, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.
"The number one goal of the Troy Athletics Department is to see all of our student-athletes receive their degrees at the end of their collegiate careers," Athletics Director Jeremy McClain said. "This public recognition from the NCAA is a testament to the hard work of our women's golf team in the classroom, and we could not be more proud of their accomplishments both academically and athletically."
Each year, the NCAA honors selected Division I sports teams by publicly recognizing their latest multiyear NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR).
