JONESBORO, Ark. – The Troy women's golf team finished in third place behind a trio of individuals tied for 17th place following Tuesday's final round of the Lady Red Wolves Classic at the Sage Meadows Golf Club.
ShaeLee Scarberry led Troy on the final trip through the course with a 1-under 71 after carding a pair of birdies around just one bogey. She climbed 14 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 17th place along with teammates Nicole Lorup and Elisabeth Preus.
Lourp closed strong with two birdies and seven pars on the back nine for her second 1-over 73 of the week while Preus shot 3-over on the day with a pair of birdies – the trio that tied for 17th place shot 5-over for the week.
