MACON, Ga. – Troy posted the second-best score in Tuesday's final round of the Mercer Invitational to climb a spot into fourth place. Nicole Lorup carded a 2-under 70 to move into sixth place individually to pace the Trojans.
Lorup led the field with 12 birdies over her 54 holes for the week while the Trojans paced the field as a team with 37 total birdies; six more than the next closest team. She dominated the back side of the course Tuesday with three of her four birdies on the day to flip her card from 1-over at the turn to 2-under at the end of the day.
