ATLANTA – On a frigid day in Atlanta, the Troy women's basketball team remained hot with its fourth straight win and 15th of the season. The Trojans defeated Georgia State 91-70 in the first of three meetings this week between the two programs.
Troy (15-5, 11-2 SBC) reached the 90-point mark for the seventh time this season in its victory at Georgia State (10-8, 6-5 SBC). The Trojans were led on Tuesday by a pair of seniors in Tyasia Moore and Janiah Sandifer. Moore, who got off to a red-hot start, ended the day with her second career double-double, second of the season, with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds.
