TROY, Ala. – Troy athletics and women's basketball is preparing for an important weekend of women's hoops, as the first-place Trojans close out their 2019-20 home schedule. The top ranked team in the Sun Belt will not only be honoring its seniors and past letter winners, but also be fighting for the programs first regular season championship since 1997 as well as seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament.
The women's basketball program will enter Thursday with a 20-4 overall record and an 11-2 Sun Belt record, both program bests for this point in the season. This weekend Troy will host Sun Belt rival Little Rock, currently fourth in the standings, on Thursday, Feb.
