Steven Rowzee is expected to start at guard on the offensive front for Troy.
Rowzee, a 6-foot-3, 315-pounder from the Chicago suburb of Park Forest, Ill., played for the Eastern Arizona College Gila Monsters in 2015 before signing with Troy this summer. Trojans head coach Neal Brown said Troy targeted Rowzee because he possesses great size and defends the pass rush well.
“Coming out of spring, we have got to get better on the offensive line,” the second-year head coach told the Dothan Eagle in July. “We were looking for someone on the interior who can pass protect well.
