TROY, Ala. – The nation's sixth longest winning streak came to an end on Saturday as Troy women's basketball fell to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, 73-79. The loss drops their record to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in the Sun Belt Conference.
In the contest Troy shot 37 percent from the field on 28-of-75 shooting while Louisiana had one of their best shooting games of the season as they shot 44 percent from the field on 27-of-62 shooting. The Trojans, a 72 percent free throw shooting team on the year, had their worst day at the line this season as they shot just 45 percent on 11-of-24 shooting.
