TROY, Ala. – The Trojans protected their home floor Tuesday night and saw season highs from Desmond Williams and Khalyl Waters as they defeated Alabama A&M 66-57 from Trojan Arena.
"We want to build momentum, and we have done that by winning two in a row," head coach Scott Cross said. "Bottom line is there are things we still need to clean up before we head into conference play, but I'm proud of how our guys stepped up and competed."
Troy (7-4). Williams finished with a game-high 19 points and four three-pointers.
