TROY, Ala. – Troy baseball will meet its oldest rival in midweek action Wednesday night, as the Trojans host Jacksonville State in the 144th meeting between the two squads; first pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Riddle-Pace Field.
The Trojans (4-3) head into their first midweek matchup of the season with loads of momentum carrying over from a series win at Louisiana Tech. Troy clinched the series by pulling out a 7-5 victory in game two of its doubleheader Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore newcomer Austin Garofalo had an outstanding weekend at the plate – going 6-for-12 with three doubles, two RBI and two runs in the three games.
