Who should be the next member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame from Alabama?

Thursday night’s Hall of Fame Game between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys not only kicks off the NFL’s preseason schedule for the year, it also serves as the opening event of enshrinement weekend for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2017.

Last year, former Auburn walk-on Kevin Greene and former Alabama quarterback Ken Stabler joined the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Class of 2017, which will be enshrined on Saturday night in Canton, Ohio, doesn’t contain an inductee with Alabama football roots.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2017 includes place-kicker Morten Andersen, running back Terrell Davis, safety Kenny Easley, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones, defensive end Jason Taylor, running back LaDainian Tomlinson and quarterback Kurt Warner.
