Gary Barta, the University of Iowa athletics director, is the chairman of the College Football Playoff committee for the second year in 2021.
He is one of 13 members on the committee in 2021.
The committee will announce a top 25 ranking on Nov. 2, Nov. 9, Nov. 16, Nov. 23, Nov. 30 and Dec. 5.
The 2021 College Football Playoff semifinals are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 31 at the Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl. The CFP National Championship is scheduled for Jan. 10 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
