TROY, Alabama – Troy sophomore Wesley Person has been named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team, the league office announced Tuesday morning. Person joins Brandon Hazzard as the only two-time All-Sun Belt selections in Troy history.
Person finished the year sixth in the Sun Belt averaging 16.8 points per game, while leading the league with 3.1 3-pointers per game. The native of Brantley, Ala., has hit a 3-pointer in all 60 of his career games, which is the longest active streak in the country.
An All-Sun Belt Third Team selection last season as a freshman, Person leads the Sun Belt and ranks 15th nationally with 96 3-pointers on the year.
