TROY – DeMarcus Ware has long been the pride of Troy University, but his legacy is now cemented in history.
The Alabama native, former college football star and current NFL champion was honored by the state, city of Troy and Troy University on Tuesday, proclaiming April 19 forever as “DeMarcus Ware Day.”
According to him, there’s one way to celebrate.
“I think with a fist pump, some positivity and make sure they get a prayer in every day,” Ware said. “It’s all about bringing everyone together, family, and the values that make you ‘you.’ I think that’s how the day should be proclaimed each and every day, with positivity.
