Troy, Ala. – Troy track and field began the Doc Anderson Invitational with winning one event and setting four personal bests as well as a season best on Friday night at Troy University.
As a team, Troy women are currently in the lead with 43 points while the men are second with 38 points, just six points behind first.
Hammer Throw
The first event of the Doc Anderson Invitational was the hammer and senior Helga Volgyi took home gold as she launched a 54.09-meter throw to set the tone for Troy at the invite.
