ATLANTA — Freshman Amahni Upshaw totaled 21 points and 16 rebounds in Troy’s 97-90 win at Georgia State on Thursday.
Upshaw averaged 4.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in the Trojans’ first 11 games.
Ashley Beverly Kelley scored 26 points and Caitlyn Ramirez 22 for Troy (7-5, 2-1 Sun Belt), which plays at Georgia Southern on Saturday.

Erichea Barnes drained five first-half 3-pointers and was 6-of-7 on free throws late, finishing with 26 points to spark the Eagles (5-10, 1-4 SSAC). Brandy Alley added 13 points and China Leary 10.
