TROY, Alabama – Troy sophomore Wesley Person has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Second Team, the organization announced recently.
Person finished the year sixth in the Sun Belt averaging 16.8 points per game, while leading the league with 3.1 3-pointers per game. The native of Brantley, Ala., has hit a 3-pointer in all 60 of his career games, which is the longest active streak in the country.
An All-Sun Belt Second Team selection, Person led the Sun Belt with 96 3-pointers on the year and ranks 19th nationally in 3-pointers per game heading into the Final Four.
