TROY – Melvin Tyus and Uvakeious McGhee quickly learned how things can change in college.
“You’ve just got to sit back and wait your turn sometimes,” Tyus said. “You go from being the guy in high school to, I guess a nobody.”
After redshirting their first year at Troy, the Montgomery natives are showing in spring practice they’re ready to contribute as early as this upcoming season.
“I’m loving it,” McGhee said. “Getting better every day. It’s a process. Everything is faster than I thought it would be, but I love it.
