Troy forward Jordon Varnado has been selected to the All-Sun Belt first team, it announced Monday.
Varnado, a 6-foot-6 sophomore, leads the Trojans this season in scoring (16.2 points per game), rebounds (6.9 per game) and blocks (46). He joins UT-Arlington forward Kevin Hervey, Texas State forward Kavin Gilder-Tilbury and the Georgia Southern duo of guards Tookie Brown and Ike Smith as first-team selections.
Troy guard Wesley Person earned third-team accolades. The junior from Brantley, son of the former Auburn star, is averaging 13.9 points per game and is third in the Sun Belt with 77 made 3-pointers this season.
