Troy's Jamal Stadom adjusts well to position change

“It’s funny, (Antonio Gillespie) and John Robles, they always used to clown me and call me Three-Tech (short for three-technique) when I first got here because the way I used to eat,” the former defensive end said. “Soon as I told them the news that I got moved into the three-tech, they were just getting on me about it.”

Stadom spent his first three seasons – one a redshirt – as a defensive end for the Trojans, but in the offseason Troy coaches opted to move him to defensive tackle. The move has bolstered the middle of the Trojans line, giving them the option of platooning Stadom and former Ariton High star Seth Calloway at the spot.
