Troy's first-half aerial assault sets the tone in win over ULM

MONROE, La. – The Troy receivers had a field day, thanks in large part to some pin-point passing, in the first half during a 35-27 victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night.

Deondre Douglas, Sidney Davis, Jabir-Daughtry Frye and Damion Willis each had multiple catches in the first two quarters as Troy quarterbacks Kaleb Barker and Sawyer Smith combined to connect on an amazing 20-of-21 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns in the first half. Barker had 14 straight completions at one point.

Douglas led the way with five catches in the first half for 67 yards, while Davis, Willis and Daughtry-Frye each had three catches.
