TROY – Troy offensive coordinator Kenny Edenfield knows Deondre Douglas had a big game in last week’s road win at New Mexico State.
The 6-foot-1, 197-pound junior from Madison caught a game-high seven passes for 101 yards. He made a leaping grab between two defenders on a clutch third-and-4 play that covered 17 yards and a first down at the Troy 37. That happened early during the Trojans’ final drive which took 6:15 off the clock and preserved their 27-24 victory.
“He had a really good game, but he could have had a bigger game, to be honest with you,” Edenfield said.
