NEW ORLEANS – The goatee was a fun summer kind of thing for Troy head coach Neal Brown.
“That’s called lazy and being at the beach,” Brown said of the hair growth on his chin he kept for about a month. “When my (3-year-old) son Dax started pulling on it, I said, ‘This has got to go.”’
Clean shaven again, Brown was all business at the Sun Belt Media Day in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Monday.
With Troy scheduled to start preseason camp on Aug. 3, he knows many questions will have to be answered in the coming weeks with the much-anticipated Sept.
