Troy's Blace Brown adjusting well to move from receiver to cornerback

Brown, a former Trojan wide receiver, has made waves as a cornerback during preseason camp – so much so that Troy head coach Neal Brown said the redshirt sophomore will be in the rotation at the spot this season.

“We played him a lot with the ones at corner, and he showed up a lot,” Neal Brown said following the Trojans’ second preseason scrimmage Saturday. “Really pleased, really happy for him. Really been selfless through the whole transition. Moved him in summer. (He) learned the position, came into fall camp ready to play.”

The move suited Blace Brown – who only has three games at Troy under his belt – just fine.
