TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team will host its biggest match of the season on Wednesday when No. 43 South Alabama visits the Lunsford Tennis Complex. First serve between the Trojans and in-state rival Jaguars is set for 3 p.m. and admission to the match is free.
Troy (10-4, 2-0) and South Alabama (16-4, 3-0) are both unbeaten in Sun Belt play and Wednesday's match will go a long way in determining seeding for the Sun Belt Championships, which begin in just three weeks.
The Trojans have won five of their last six matches and are coming off of a 4-2 win over Appalachian State at home last Thursday.
