AUBURN, Alabama – After a loss to a ranked team yesterday, the Troy women's tennis rebounded with a 5-2 win over UT Martin on a neutral court at the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
Troy (4-2) fell behind early with losses at No. 2 and No. 1 doubles, respectively, but dominated in singles play to grab their fourth win.
Nancy Karaky got things started with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Jermima Potter at No. 5 singles. Luisa Ferrauit then cruised in straight set at No. 6, 6-4, 6-2, to put the Trojans up 2-1.
