Troy women's basketball coach Chanda Rigby and her team put on a basketball camp on Friday at Northview High School for Wiregrass-area players.
Rigby’s Trojans instructed more than 40 Wiregrass-area girls at the Northview High School gym in a variety of skills, including post play, defense and shooting. Rigby said this was the first time in her five-year Troy career that she conducted a camp on the road.
Rigby said NCAA rules regarding camps have relaxed in recent years, allowing women’s basketball teams to conduct them within a certain radius of the school.
