The NCAA announced its championship bracket on ESPN Monday night, and the Trojans are headed to Oregon State to face the Beavers in a No. 2 vs. No. 15 matchup. The game will be 4 p.m. Friday.
Troy is one of three teams from Alabama to make the tournament. Auburn earned a nine-seed and will face St. John’s in Waco, Texas, on Saturday at 12:30 p.m., while Alabama State – like Troy – earned a 15 seed and will face Texas in Austin also on Saturday.
For the Trojans (20-12), the tournament berth – clinched Saturday with a 61-60 win over Little Rock in the Sun Belt Championships – breaks a 19-year NCAA drought.
