Troy wide receiver Clark Quisenberry declared academically ineligible

In a statement from Trojans head coach Neal Brown, Quisenberry’s ineligibility stems in part from a broken leg suffered in Troy’s last game against Louisiana-Lafayette on Dec. 5 of last year.

“He broke his leg in the season finale at UL Lafayette and wasn’t able to complete his final exams, in addition to not meeting certain academic standards during the spring semester,” Brown said in the statement.

Quisenberry, an Enterprise High graduate, had his best season statistically as a Trojan in 2015, registering 14 catches for 138 yards. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is known for his blocking abilities at the inside receiver position.
