The Troy Trojans were set to face the South Alabama Jaguars this Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium, but it’ll be postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Jaguars' program, both teams announced Tuesday.
No date has been announced at this time to reschedule the “Battle for the Belt” game, but both programs will work with the Sun Belt Conference on a late mutual date.
This will be the second time this fall that Troy has been forced to reschedule a game amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Trojan’s season opener against Louisiana-Monroe was moved from Sept.
