TROY, Ala. – For the eighth time in program history, Troy volleyball has been named as a United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award honoree, the national organization announced on Monday. The Trojans were also named to the Team Academic Honor Roll for the third-straight season, which signifies the top 20% of team GPAs from each division and is the highest scholarly achievement in volleyball.
"Every year our team sets a goal to be recognized as one of the very best teams academically in the country and once again they have achieved that honor," head coach Josh Lauer said.
