The Troy volleyball team battled hard at home but fell 0-3 to Tennessee in Trojan Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
Despite keeping things close the entire way, the Trojans (6-14, 0-4 Sun Belt) couldn’t seem to finish out sets with wins, as they lost all three sets by a total of 12 points.
Symone Shaw, Logan Page and Leah Causey all had seven kills for Troy in the match, but errors plagued the home team as it fell to the Volunteers (11-6, 0-0 Sun Belt).
Troy held an 11-8 lead early in the first set, but gave up ground to the Vols, who scraped by with a 25-21 win in the set.
