TROY, Ala. – It was a victorious senior night for the Trojans as they defeated Appalachian State in three sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-23) in their final home game of the season from Trojan Arena Saturday night. With the win, the Trojans have now finished with three consecutive seasons with a winning record in the Sun Belt Conference for the first time in program history.
"I think we had good composure down the stretch," head coach Josh Lauer said. "We made excellent plays when we needed to. We have a lot of contributions on this team, which has helped us on this four-game win streak.
