Troy turns to big-man Anderson in fourth quarter

The big, bruising 251-pound fullback registered five carries for 27 yards and two catches for 18 yards in the fourth quarter against the Tigers. The plays fueled two scoring drives that aided Troy’s rally against then-No. 2 Clemson and gave the Trojans one final shot at a remarkable upset.

“He is a guy that needs to get carries. He is really good late in the game,” Trojans head coach Neal Brown said Monday. “He's been that way the last two weeks, but he played the most physical game that he can, that he has since he's been here in three years or so.
