TROY – Fireworks exploded in the middle of the last play – emblematic of Troy’s offensive performance against Georgia Southern Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Trojans’ first three scoring drives covered just five plays as their big plays dominated in a 38-16 rout of the winless Eagles on homecoming.
Troy (6-2 overall, 3-1 Sun Belt Conference) needed just two plays to register the first score 37 second s into the game.
“I think we’ve had a lot of fun these last two weeks, not worried about anything else going on around us,” Trojans quarterback Brandon Silvers said.
